You may ask why we do Construction Accounting, Tax and Consulting work?

 

Because it's difficult, challenging and we like the people who do construction.

 

My passion for this specialty started when I was a child working with my father and brother repairing rental properties. I was the youngest and at the time the smallest. I got to do the plumbing and electrical work. During those years we did everything but build new rental properties. When I was a teenager, the only job available to a young man in Orlando who was of draft age in 1967, was construction. I went to work for EC Goldman Roofing until I joined the Army in 1968.

 

The backbone of Central Florida's economy over the years has been construction so when I graduated from UCF in 1974, the clients I worked with were construction. The only difference is that instead of doing the work, I tabulated the results and worked with clients to improve profitability.
